This meeting typically occurs monthly on the first Wednesday and is presented by the Palm Harbor Museum.

 Lue Gim Gong, The Citrus Wizard of Florida with Quinton Spiaggi, Collections Assistant at Palm Harbor Museum, who will detail the life of the renowned horticulturalist hired in 1916 by Ransom E. Olds—founder of Oldsmar—to plan and help develop the citrus farms of his new development at the top of Tampa Bay. Lue’s dedication to horticulture and knowledge of pollination techniques from China led to his creation of new varieties of apple, tomato, and cross-pollinated citrus fruit that transformed Florida’s citrus industry.
