Event Details
The Community Photography Project (CPP) is a visual-storytelling program that guides registered and selected participants through the film-photography workflow. Delivered through in-person modules, the program will teach participants how to plan a photography project, operate a film camera effectively, and develop a clear creative vision.
The CPP is a three-month, six-module program. It runs June through August. This is a program with limited registration, so please make sure you can commit to all six modules. Classes are 6/12, 6/22, 7/10, 7/17, 8/21 & 8/28.
Registration opens May 22nd, 2026. It is highly encouraged that you attend the informational session on May 22nd at 3:15pm. Registration is limited.
If you are interested in participating in the CPP, send an email to Peter@phlib.org with "CPP Registration" in the subject line. Provide a short explanation why you are interested in the program and your level of experience with photography.
Week 1 -the first module introduces key expressive elements of photography and the terminology needed to communicate a visual narrative.
