The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) has a one hour meeting each week. During this meeting they discuss a variety of library issues, from book orders to organizing the teen room to planning events like our annual haunted house. Aside from this meeting, YAB volunteers help with planning and running programs. Interested teens aged 13-18 can attend a meeting to see if they'd like to join. Students who have previously completed Intro to Robotics and have been selected for Competition Robotics will work in teams to create the best robots. These teams will compete in a local RoboFest Competition with the possibility of earning a spot to compete in the RoboFest World Championship at Lawrence Technical University in Michigan. Sessions are invitation-only for students in 5th - 8th Grade.
